Reese Witherspoon seriously pursued her acting after enrolling in Stanford University. She had early successes with films like Pleasantville, Election and Legally Blonde. Also, she was in films such as The Dictator and The Incredible Burt Wonderstone. She is an accomplished artist and painter in addition to being a successful actor.
