Jeanie Marie Buss, an American businesswoman from America. Buss is the sole owner of the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association and currently is the president of the organization. Buss comes from California, was raised in an very wealthy family. Their father Jerry Buss was a real-estate tycoon, who was later the proprietor of the Lakers and other sports businesses. She felt abandoned emotionally as her parents divorced in the year 1972. When she was 19 years old, she began working for the family business as the general manager for the Los Angeles Strings professional tennis team. Then, she established the Los Angeles Blades roller hockey professional team. Before becoming vice president for the Lakers in 2013, she was president of the Great Western Forum. Buss took over her share of the Lakers through her father's estate in 2013. The five siblings she had inherited it through a family trust. In 2013, she took control for the Los Angeles Lakers. Buss is also owner of a portion of Women of Wrestling (a Los Angeles-based pro-wrestling association).
