Lauren Alaina was a fan most admired on the American Idol Season Ten list. Her appearance was unique and she's known for her commitment to God. Lauren Alaina, born and raised Rossville Georgia, discovered her talent for singing when her friend had been diagnosed with cancer of the brain. Lauren's cousin encouraged her to pursue the dream of becoming able to sing. Scotty McCreery, contestant on American Idol became her friend throughout Lauren's time. The two shared the same traditional Christian roots and both were very likable. Lauren didn't mind the fact that Scotty had won, she was just happy to have lost to her friend.
