Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude Toubia is an Canadian actor best recognized for her role on her role in the Freeform Fantasy series Shadowhunters, and Venevision telenovelas Cosita linda, and Voltea pa' you are awestruck. Her other talents include being a model who is successful and also a dancer. Montreal born, she spent her early years in Texas. From the time she was a young child she has been taught in a variety of dance styles. In her 15th year she was participating in beauty pageants. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia became famous by her appearance on Nuestra Belleza Latina, the Univision pageant program. In 2010 she played the receptionist for Telemundo television show Aurora. In 2015, she was a part-time actress in her first film the action drama Tattooed Love. The performance of Toubia as Shadowhunter was praised by her fellow actors at the Teen Choice Awards in both 2017 and 2018 for Best TV Actress Fantasy/Sci-Fi.
